I hand build these by rolling out the clay and using a mould.
Once the stoneware clay is rolled out, I use a textured roller to make the pattern. The clay is then cut into a rectangle and led over a wooden mould. Simple as that!
Once dried out completely it goes into the kiln for the bisque firing.
The glaze I use really brings out the pattern in the clay, the soap dishes are dipped into the glaze and fired again to 1210 degrees C. The finished piece is durable and dishwasher proof.
